The short version

The assessment runs inside your browser. Nothing about your business leaves your device unless you choose to fill in the contact form at the end. If you do fill it in, we receive your contact details and a link to your results — and that link includes the figures you entered. The form says so before you submit it. You can use the whole tool, print it and keep the link without ever filling it in.

If you just use the tool

We collect nothing. There is no account, no login, no cookie asking for your consent, and no tracking script. The calculation happens on your computer or phone. Your answers are encoded into the address of the results page so you can bookmark it or send it to someone — which means the link itself contains your answers. Treat that link like the numbers in it, and only share it with people you would show your accounts to.

If you fill in the contact form

Then we receive:

• Your name and email address
• Which of the six business types you selected
• The fact that you ticked the consent box
• A link to your results page, so we can email it to you. That link encodes the answers you gave — your revenue, costs, margin, team and hours — which means submitting the form shares those figures with us.

We use this to send you your results, to contact you about them, and to talk to you about UNCMP's mentoring. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services listed below.

If you would rather we did not have your figures, simply do not submit the form. The results page is fully yours without it — print it, or copy the link from the top of the page and keep it somewhere safe.

Who else touches it

• Vercel hosts this site. Like any web host it records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
• Zapier passes your contact details to our CRM (GoHighLevel) and our records (Airtable). This only happens if you submit the form.
• Anthropic may be used to write the plain English summary on your results page. Where it is, it receives the calculated result and nothing that identifies you — no name, no email, no company name. If it is unavailable the summary is written from a fixed template instead and the tool works exactly as well.

How long we keep it

Contact details, and the results link submitted with them, stay in our CRM and our records until you ask us to remove them, or until we have no reason to keep them. We do not run a database of assessments from people who never submitted the form — if you did not fill it in, there is nothing of yours to delete.

Getting your details removed

Email josh@uncmp.com and ask. We will delete what we hold and confirm that we have. You can also ask for a copy of it. You do not have to give a reason, and it will not affect anything else.

This is not advice

The results are educational planning estimates based on what you entered and on the assumptions shown on the results page. They are not financial, legal, tax, employment or accounting advice, and they are not a substitute for someone who knows your business.

Changes

If we change what this tool collects, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Questions go to josh@uncmp.com.
